The story of CeramicSpeed started back in 1998, when founder Jacob Czismadia broke the world record for 24hr inline skating using skates equipped with ceramic bearings. Two years later, ceramic bearings were introduced to professional cycling and ceramic bearings were first used in the Tour de France in 2001. In 2004, CeramicSpeed was founded in Holstebro, Denmark where staff assemble the finest quality ceramic bearings in the world by hand.
